AHA/HSI Classes for Lay Persons: Lifeguard, Nanny, Personal Trainer, Workplace, etc
Is the textbook required for AHA classes? American Heart Association and American Health Safety Institute require students to have access to the textbook before, during, and after the course. You have option to purchase upon checkout, or bring your own textbook purchased elsewhere as long as it is the current version. Textbook can be used when you are doing your test. We issue ebook immediately upon sign-up.
What certification is this? For an American Heart Association class, We issue AHA e-card typically immediately upon end of class and is valid for 2 years. For an HSI class, you will receive an ecard via email after the class as well. Many organizations that regulate CPR/First Aid will take either American Heart Association or HSI, as there is no difference or single preference over the other. However, this varies for clinical/patient-provider courses, such as Basic Life Support.
